There are a lot of travel resources and websites out there, but these are the ones I go back to time and time again. They have my seal of approval, so you can book your next trip in confidence.

Travel Insurance

It used to shock me that anyone travelled without travel insurance – for me, it was as much of a given as a suitcase and passport.

After years of travelling  without issue, though, I finally understood. Travel insurance isn’t cheap and feels like a waste money. Money that could be spent on an extra week in the sun or a really cool once in a lifetime safari, perhaps…

Until you need it.

When you eventually need to claim on your travel insurance, you’ll know you spent your money wisely. I ended up claiming multiple times in the space of twelve months, and I was SO grateful for my travel insurance when I finally needed it.

Without it, I would have spent a fortune on hospital bills and gadget replacements. Money that I then couldn’t have spent on travel… See how that works?

If you only do one thing before you travel, please get travel insurance. I’m sorry to use this photo, but I really want to emphasise the point.

Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to find travel insurance that’s both adequate AND trustworthy. Even if you think you know all about travel insurance, these posts will help you avoid any costly mistakes:
