Why visit the Philippines:

Why wouldn’t you want to visit the Philippines? It’s one of the most beautiful countries in the entire world.

With so many islands to explore, it can be hard to know where to begin when planning a trip to the Philippines. The answer is simple: anywhere. But if you want to stick to the tried and tested spots, head to El Nido, Coron, Cebu, Bohol or Siargao.

Although you’re sure to experience it during your Philippines travels, the Philippines isn’t just about island hopping. The northern part of Luzon is a mountainous haven of expansive rice paddies, quaint rice village and minimal tourism.

Or why not try Batanes, the northernmost province in the Philippines? It’s so far from the tropical beaches and coconut trees that smother most of the country that you’d be forgiven for thinking you’re in Scotland when you’re here.

Wherever you end up going, you’re sure to find more than a few welcoming faces to make you feel instantly at home.
